Hertfordshire’s Lonsdale Wealth Management announce new partnership with Alzheimer’s Society

Lonsdale Wealth Management is to become a corporate partner of Alzheimer's Society. Lonsdale will be the first Hertfordshire financial adviser to become a corporate partner.

Mussara Gray, Community Fundraiser for Alzheimer's Society said: 'I am delighted that Lonsdale Wealth Management has become a corporate partner and I look forward to working alongside them.'

In 2015/16, for every £1 Alzheimer's Society received, 89p was spent directly on improving the lives of people with dementia. The other 11p went towards generating future income. Alzheimer's Society are the only UK charity investing in research into dementia care, cause, cure and prevention.

Simon Hawker, Managing Director and independent financial adviser St Albans said: 'We have nominated Alzheimer's Society as our charity of choice for 2017. Allan Ross and Mandy Morgan are working with colleagues to raise awareness of Dementia internally. Some of our clients are affected by Dementia and some of my Lonsdale colleagues have experienced Dementia first-hand within their own family. You will notice the Dementia collecting tins in each of our offices and we hope to soon issue details of a fundraising event that you can sponsor.'

Allan Ross, Lonsdale Dementia Friends Champion will be offering Dementia Friends sessions in Ware so if you would like to become a Dementia Friend please contact him at the Ware office on 01920 860160. Becoming a Dementia Friend is a great opportunity to find out more about dementia and take action.
