Fraud costs the UK economy billions of pounds every year.

Hertsmere Borough Council is supporting International Fraud Awareness Week, which takes place between Sunday 17 and Saturday 23 November, to raise awareness of the type of fraud committed and the cost to local authorities.

Dacorum Borough Council's Clean, Safe and Green team cleared six tonnes of rubbish in a seven-day litter pick of the A41.

The team worked alongside Ringway, a Highway Services organisation, which was carrying out work on the A41 meaning the council could work alongside them to carry out the clear up.

Dacorum Borough Council has introduced two new Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) to control anti-social behaviour and dog activity in the borough.

Cycling and skateboarding in an area of Hemel Town Centre will carry a £75 fine under the PSPO which also bans spitting (including discharge of chewing gum), urinating or defecating in a public place.
