An invitation to attend a planning update is being extended to residents' associations and community groups across the borough.

The session, which will take place at Civic Offices on Monday, 21 September starting at 6pm, will be hosted by senior managers from our Planning department. They will provide an update on key planning policy changes, both locally and nationally, and also provide an overview of the planning application process.

Parliamentary candidates for Watford went head to head at a small business themed election hustings . Richard Harrington who secured victory last time was up against the Lib. Dem. Mayor Dorothy Thornhill, who is standing as parliamentary candidate this time, Labour's Matt Turmaine, UKIP's Nick Lincoln and Green Party hopeful Aiden Cottrell-Boyce. The evening was organised by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) a not-for profit, non-political organisation that is there to support the interests of small businesses.
