Hertfordshire businesses shortlisted for FSB East of England Celebrating Small Business Awards 2018
The shortlist of the FSB East of England - Celebrating Small Business Awards 2018 contains five Hertfordshire finalists, Jamie Russell of Touch of Ginger Ltd of Shepreth, who has been shortlisted for the Business Exporter of the Year, Stacey Hollis of New Noise Audio from Hitchin who has been shortlisted for Micro Business of the year, Daniel Yellop of The Discount Brands Company Ltd also of Hitchin who has been shortlisted for Scale-up business of the year, Sarah Wragg of Cariad Marketing Limited based in Hertford who has been shortlisted for Digital Business of the Year and Nikki Costello of Fashonbrandz Ltd. based in Royston who has been shortlisted for Start-up Business of the Year.
A meeting between members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) in who live in or run their businesses in Hitchin and Harpenden and the new MP Bim Afolami was held at the Victoria Public House in Hitchin last week (29 September) to discuss issues affecting small businesses.
FSB calls for transparency for regulation
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is concerned the Government's drive to bear down on the burden of red tape on UK businesses is not delivering enough gains for business, as set out in a report by the influential Committee of Public Accounts (PAC).
